The Role of Community Engagement in Eradicating Human Trafficking
Community engagement plays a crucial role in preventing and fighting against human trafficking. Schools are vital in the community awareness efforts. This year, Spotsylvania Schools is hosting an event to help parents and guardians know how to talk to their kids about human trafficking. Online safety will be covered. Red Sand Projects are Rescheduled for Tues., January 28, 2025, (1) at University of Mary Washington, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and same date and time at Spotsyvania Sheriff's Office.
Tues., January 21, 2025, 6 p.m. Spotsylvania Neighborhood Watch hosts a discussion with Michele Trampe from CVJI and Spotsylvania Sheriff's Dep. Margarida Figueroa at Spotsylvania Towne Center.
